The 1930s, Shanghai's Golden Age. Booming business and flourishing trade stretched bustling days into long nights, and bankers found themselves cajoling numbers by the light of incandescent lamps soothed by emerald green shades. These lamps were so ubiquitous on their desks, they were named banker's lamps.
Originally designed for SCENE SHANG, THE BANKER Desk Lamp makes its return in limited quantities at Jessica Wong Studio. This edition carries forward the spirit of the original, with refined details that speak to timeless design. Balanced in symmetry, grounded with a Rosa Pink marble base, and finished with a black-and-white woven cord that nods to old-world charm. Each lamp comes complete with a complimentary Long Tube Edison-Style LED Bulb.
