WARRANTY COVERAGE

Structural Manufacturing Defects

Jessica Wong Studio warrants that our products are free from structural manufacturing defects for a Warranty Period of two years. 

If you discover a structural manufacturing defect on your item within the Warranty Period, that is not the result of normal wear and tear and/or variances due to the characteristics of natural materials, Jessica Wong Studio will offer one of the following remedies, at our discretion:

• Repair or replace part(s) of the product upon assessment, or
• Offer a 1 to 1 exchange with a same or comparable product, or
• Offer a 1 to 1 exchange with an alternative product, if a same or comparable product is unavailable or discontinued.

Surface Defects

If a defect to the finishes, such as scratches, holes and marks, that is i) not the result of normal wear and tear, ii) due to the characteristics of the manufacturing process, such as brush marks on metal and nail or screw holes, and/or iii) due to the inherent nature of the material, is discovered on your item, Jessica Wong Studio will offer one of the following remedies, at our discretion:

• Repair or replace part(s) of the product upon assessment, or
• Offer a 1 to 1 exchange with a same or comparable product, or
• Offer a 1 to 1 exchange with an alternative product, if a same or comparable product is unavailable or discontinued, or
• Offer a discount on the regular price of the product, up to similar discounts offered for products marked as "As-Is," sample pieces, and floor models designated as Final Sale, subject to our assessment of the extent of defects. 

⚠ For surface defects on custom made products, we will only be able to offer a discount on the regular price and will not be able to provide any other remedies.

Our warranty will cover the cost of material components, replacement parts, labor, and local transportation charges.

If your item is assessed to be deemed defective or damaged due to misuse or wear and tear instead of manufacturing, the cost of material components and replacement parts, with all labor charges and transportation costs (if any), will be chargeable to you.

CLAIM PROCEDURE

If your item is found to be defective during the Warranty Period and your warranty is valid, please email contact@jessicawongstudio.com with clear photos of the defects and order information.

We will usually respond to your request within 2 working days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

WARRANTY VALIDITY

Warranty validity is based on all of the following conditions:

• Your claim is made during the Warranty Period. 
• You are able to provide a valid receipt or order number. We are not able to provide any warranty coverage if there is no proof of purchase. 
• Your items are used only for domestic purposes.
• Your items are not shipped or transferred to another location/country.
• Your items were not marked as "As-Is," sample pieces, and floor models designated as Final Sale.
• Damage or defects in your items were not caused by any of the points listed under “WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS — What Our Warranty Excludes”

WARRANTY PERIOD

The Warranty Period of your item begins from the date of fulfillment/delivery and is valid for a period of three years.

If the Warranty Period has ended and any defects are discovered thereafter, the cost of material components and replacement parts, with all labour charges and transportation costs (if any), will not be borne by Jessica Wong Studio and shall be chargeable to you.

If your item is repaired or replaced under this warranty, it will only be covered for the remainder of the original Warranty Period. The Warranty Period will not renew upon exchange or servicing.

WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS

Jessica Wong Studio will not be able to provide any warranty coverage for any of your items marked as "As-Is," sample pieces, and floor models designated as Final Sale, or if any of the below has occurred to regular items:

• Negligence, accidental misuse, abuse and/or unreasonable use
• Normal wear and tear including fading and discolouration caused by chemicals (such as detergents, abrasives or other harsh cleaning agents), excessive UV and moisture exposure and/or accidents including, but not limited to, burns, cuts, scratches, tears, scuffs, watermarks, indentations or damage from pets
• Weathering due to humid conditions and/or exposure to outdoor conditions such as rain, sea breeze and sunlight, unless product is specifically stated as suitable for outdoor use or weatherproof
• The product being used outdoors when it is not intended for outdoor usage
• Any product modifications by consumer or other parties not authorised by Jessica Wong Studio

For repair or reupholstery of your items due to normal wear and tear or other reasons listed above, an assessment is required to determine if the product is fit for servicing and charges will apply.
